Our Ethics
What we promote, what we don’t, and how we choose.
At Zenda Guide, our mission is to support conscious and sustainable living — and that includes being transparent about what we share, recommend, and stand behind.
This space was created for readers who want to live better with less impact. To help you do that, we carefully research and curate the products, services, and resources we mention on our site. We never post just to sell — we guide based on what we truly believe is better for people and the planet.
Here’s how we define that.
Our Core Principles
1. Sustainability
We focus on low-impact living, responsible tourism, and thoughtful consumption. We choose partners, products, and ideas that align with environmental stewardship, circular systems, and mindful progress.
2. Plant-Based & Cruelty-Free
We do not promote anything derived from animals — including food, fashion, beauty, and tourism. We only support brands that are vegan, cruelty-free, and committed to animal welfare and biodiversity.
3. Progress Over Perfection
Conscious living is a journey. We don’t expect you — or ourselves — to be perfect. Instead, we highlight realistic swaps and smarter choices that help reduce harm while living meaningfully and efficiently.
4. Evidence Over Hype
We don’t promote trends for clicks. Everything we publish is researched and intentional. If a product claims to be sustainable, we look for real proof — not greenwashing.
What We Don’t Promote
At Zenda Guide, we do not recommend or link to:
-
Animal-based food, fashion, or cosmetic products
-
Animal tourism (with rare exception for verified sanctuaries or ethical wildlife observation)
-
Single-use plastic-heavy items
-
Greenwashed “eco” products with no transparency
-
Cruises or luxury travel that damages ecosystems
-
Any brand or service that does not align with our values
Affiliate Partnerships & Transparency
We use affiliate links across some of our guides and recommendations. When you buy through those links, we may earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you.
These commissions help us keep Zenda Guide alive and ad-free, and allow us to invest time into researching, writing, and updating content that makes a difference.
Importantly:
We only recommend products and services we’ve evaluated and believe align with our ethics and mission. If we wouldn’t use it ourselves — or suggest it to a friend — we won’t promote it here.
